UAE Connection Issues

We are aware of an issue that is effecting connections in UAE.  We do have a working solution for this:

PC users: If you joined prior to 21/05/18 uninstall the existing version of the software and then reinstall the latest version.  Once the new version of the software is installed double click on the WatchUKTVAbroad desktop icon but before Connecting click Disconnect.  Then find the small TV icon in your system tray in Windows (bottom right of Windows by the clock.  You may need to click the up/side arrow to see it).  Then right click on the small TV icon and select either Fallback or Fallback 2.

Mac users: If you joined prior to 21/05/18 uninstall the existing version of the App and then reinstall the latest version. Once the new version of the App is installed double click on the WatchUKTVAbroad click on the small TV icon in your menu bar and select either Fallback or Fallback 2.

iPad/iPhone users: Instead of using the WatchUKTVAbroad L2TP conneciton (the standard connection that was setup using the auto setup) login to your My Account area on our site using your device, tap ‘Setup on my device‘, choose iPad but instead of downloading the auto setup scroll down to the bottom of the setup guide and tap the tab that says ‘Setup an OpenVPN Connection‘.  Once setup and you have imported both Fallback & Fallback 2 conneciton to either of these (trying Fallback first).

Android users: Instead of using the WatchUKTVAbroad PPTP or L2TP conneciton login to your My Account area on our site using your device, tap ‘Setup on my device‘, choose Android but instead of following the standard setup guide scroll down to the bottom of the setup guide and tap the tab that says ‘Setup an OpenVPN Connection‘.  Once setup and you have imported both Fallback & Fallback 2 conneciton to either of these (trying Fallback first).
